Steve McQueen and wife (?) draped around each other from a 1963 Life Magazine shoot. Apparently it caused quite a sensation at the time for the suggestiveness of the pose and the lack of clothing, with one reader writing: “I am no prude but your magazine is seen every week by our most important national asset, the teen-agers, and you are setting a bad example by displaying such photographs.”
